After much lounging around in PJ’s this morning, I finally got dressed and threw on my new linden sweatshirt. I paired it with some rtw leggings (that really need to be replaced, they were once black and are now more of a charcoal grey at best) and I wore me made undies and bra.
For the linden sweatshirt, I cut a size 0 and graded the hips up to a size 4. The fit is really great, just loose enough for me to be comfortable in it, but I’m not drowning in it either. I was a little worried that the underarms would end up sitting too close to my armpits for my liking, but I think they’re just perfect. (I apparently have very sensitive armpits and can’t have anything rubbing against them. haha)
Next time I’ll add about 2 inches to the length of the body so that it actually covers my booty. Right now it’s about 2 inches short of being able to cover my booty, and about 1/2 – 1 inch from being long enough to cover in front. And since I live in leggings, I’d like to be covered. But other than that, I love it!
Today I’ve been working on orders that need to get out this week. I have 8 items that need to be finished and ship within the next couple days. I finished a different order (pictured below) and one of the 8 items today and started on some of the others.
I also seem to have a case of Cast-on-itis coming on. I want to cast on all the shawls and socks and sweaters. But I have a very limited number of knitting needles, so I can’t cast on all the things. Plus I don’t need any other distractions right now from my orders. I’m still working on my burgundy sweater and I have a pair of patons kroy socks on the needles (though I think I might frog them because I MIGHT be allergic to it.. not far fetched as I am allergic to wool, but it’s just so scratchy and it makes me itchy so I never want to work on them). I do have a pair of sock needles free right now, but like I said, I don’t need distractions right now. Ah well.
What have you all been working on? Are any of you on a stressful deadline for something right now too?

[…] I used the Grainline Linden sweatshirt, which has quickly become a favorite pattern of mine. It’s so simple and well drafted, but it’s also very versatile and hack-able (as you’ve seen with my other Linden variations: the split hem, banded short sleeves, etc.) […]
